Getting Started

  • Save often by keying in Command-S
  • Open a new window of most applications by keying Command-N
  • Command-spacebar = open Spotlight
  • Command-X = Cut
  • Command-C = Copy
  • Command-V = Paste
  • Command-Shift-4, then click and drag for screenshot (Picture1.png on desktop)
  • Command-Option + = Zoom in (if nothing happens, key Command-Shift-8 to turn this feature on)
  • Command-Option - = Zoom out
  • Holding down the Command button while clicking allows you to select more than one file

decrease brightness (command+F1 changes display mode, option+F1 brings up display prefs)
